New York, November 29, 2017 – CEO of Sutton Place Strategies (SPS), Nadim Malik, led the panel Standing out from the Heard at Capital Roundtable’s full-day conference on Best Practices for Sourcing Private Equity Investing Opportunities. The conference took place on Tuesday, November 28th in midtown Manhattan at The University Club.
The panel discussed tactics for private equity firms to remain top of mind with intermediaries. The conversations were lively and included strategies for sourcing professionals to differentiate themselves and ensure that their firm gets the deal. Themes discussed included the processes that PE firms are employing to build relationships with intermediaries, as well as how to best educate the market so sellers and intermediaries know which platforms you are trying to build and which you are likely to pass on in the future.
As Malik noted, “it was a real enjoyable experience, lots of engagement and laughter from the audience. The panel did an excellent job explaining what approaches are working for them, and how they tackle sourcing issues.”
