Jaren joined SPS as a Research Analyst in 2022, where he supports the Research team with building out and maintaining our private equity database. His role includes collecting mergers and acquisition data and reviewing private equity, corporate, and mezzanine transactions on both the buy-side and sell-side. Previously, he has held intern roles in credit research and commercial real estate.

Jaren graduated from the Emory University – Goizueta Business School in 2022 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in both Finance and Real Estate. Jaren enjoys watching sports, working on his cooking, and snowboarding in his free time.

Jordan focuses on making abstract data tangible through insightful storytelling.. He has played a critical role in building processes from the ground up in roles at Intercontinental Exchange, United Way of Greater Atlanta, and NCR.

Jordan has a Bachelor’s in both Economics and International Affairs from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. He lives in Brooklyn and spends his time organizing in the community, watching films, and playing music.

Julie is currently a VP on the Business Development team supporting our Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. She has worked in the M&A market since 2011 and was previously at Mergermarket where she worked with Private Equity firms and advisors along the east coast.

She is a graduate from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL and currently lives in Westchester, NY. She enjoys spending all her free time with her family and is a mother to two.

Kenny joined SPS as a Research Analyst in 2021 where he helps to build and maintain our private equity database. He is responsible for buy side and sell side data collection for private equity, corporate and mezzanine deals while also ensuring that previous deals are accurate and up to date. Previously, he was a legal assistant for a law firm in Bronx, NY.

Kenny is a recent graduate of the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He spends most of his free time surfing.

As a member of the Client Strategy & Data Insights team, Muhammad works with complex datasets, creating actionable analyses for SPS and its clients. He also covers Chicago-based clients, and contributes to product development, marketing, and corporate culture. Prior to SPS, Muhammad worked at a boutique investment bank, completing 5 acquisitions during his tenure.

Muhammad graduated with a BA in Economics from CUNY City College of New York. He was born, raised, and still lives in New York, where he enjoys eating more sugar in a day than most people eat in a month.

Rich is a Senior Research Analyst at SPS, where he helps build and maintain the private equity database through entering and checking deals, along with routine data cleanup exercises. Rich also supports the Business Development team through data collection and is involved with the publishing of the quarterly Mezzanine Newsletter. Previously, Rich was a Research Analyst with Buyouts Insider, a publication focused on the leveraged buyout and private equity industry.

Rich attended Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY, where he graduated Cum Laude from The O’Malley School of Business with a BBA in Finance.

Veejay Lall is currently Director of Research at SPS, where he is responsible for the management and improvement of the data collection and transformation process. Previously, he has held various positions within the Research team, helping to formulate current best practices. Prior to his tenure with SPS, Veejay worked at an Investment Bank in the Debt and Municipalities division.

Veejay received his BBA from CUNY Baruch College, and his MBA with a concentration in Financial Management from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.
